Aurum Studios has been a fixture in downtown Athens since 1975, when it first opened as a small three-person shop just a few blocks from the University of Georgia.
Over the decades, Aurum grew from a tight-knit team making every piece by hand to a destination for fine jewelry and art, serving both Athens and the Lake Oconee area.

A New Chapter, Same Creative Spirit
After 47 years under the leadership of founder Tricia Ruppersburg, Aurum transitioned to new ownership in 2022, with longtime team member Lori Davidson taking the helm.
Through all these years, the studio’s focus has remained the same: offering unique custom jewelry, supporting local artists, and providing a welcoming space for creativity and craft in the heart of Athens.
