Getting started
Some customers come in with a clear vision, others need a little inspiration. Depending on the piece, we start with a hand-drawn sketch, a wax model, or a 3D rendering—and guide you through each detail.
Things to think about before you come in for a custom commission of an engagement ring:
- What type, size, and shape stone are you thinking about?
- Natural diamond or lab-grown diamond? Or would you prefer another kind of gemstone as the center stone?
- What is the wearer's ring size?
- What color and karat of metal?
- Do you care if the engagement ring fits flush with a straight wedding band?
- Prong-set or bezel-set? And how low or high do you want the ring to sit?
